Blood Boiling Youth Showcase Translation








1. There is a scene where Jong Suk ate jajangmyeon in the movie, he said he likes jajangmyeon a lot, but he usually can’t eat when he is on diet because it has too many calories. he could eat when he was filming this movie, but he couldn’t before the movie. He wants to do jajangmyeon CF or ramyeon CF.
(Ok, seems that not long ago, Woobin said he wants to be in a ramyeon CF too… you two should do one together XDDDD I still cannot eat a bowl of Korean ramyeon without thinking about the two of you after School 2013.)
2. If Blood Boiling Youth gets over 5 million viewers, there will be a free hug event in Myeongdong.
(Seriously, even the Reply 1994 free hug in Myeongdong got cancelled… if it is Jong Suk, it will be cancelled for sure???)
3. That scene in which he danced in his briefs. He was afraid that the white briefs might be a bit too transparent, so he wore two pairs of them. The movie was for those above 19 originally, it is good that now it is classified for above 15.
4. When asked if Jong Suk has this habit of biting others’ shoulder, Lee Se Young said he would pick others’ nose, and not just hers, there were many victims. Jong Suk said he didn’t do it to Park Bo Young before they got close, but then after this, Bo Young found him very weird, and so she distanced herself from him. Park Bo Young said they were not very close then, and they were shooting an emotional scene, suddenly he put his finger into her nose…
(Ok… now I know why you two didn’t get close, and why you are still using the polite Korean to talk to her even after filming… if you are not so cute… can you get away with things like these… =.=”)

Cannoli : The Italian Best Dessert

Classic Cannoli from Martha Stewart


INGREDIENTS

FOR THE FILLINGS

  • 2 3/4 cups (22 ounces) fresh ricotta cheese
  • 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 3 tablespoons mini semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3/4 teaspoon finely grated orange zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

FOR THE SHELLS
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 3/4 cup sweet Marsala wine
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg white, lightly beaten
  • 4 ounces semisweet chocolate (preferably 61 percent cacao)
  • 1/2 cup shelled unsalted pistachios, finely chopped
  • Confectioners' sugar, for dusting

COOK'S NOTE

We flattened our dough with a pasta machine, but you can also reach for a rolling pin. Either way, be sure to roll out the dough very thinly to give the fried shells the blistered texture of true cannoli.

DIRECTIONS

  1. STEP 1

    Make the filling: Line a sieve with a layer of cheesecloth, and set over a bowl. Spoon ricotta into sieve. Cover, and let drain in the refrigerator overnight.
      
  2. STEP 2

    With an electric mixer on medium speed, beat ricotta and confectioners' sugar until fluffy. Beat in chocolate chipsvanilla, zest, and lemon juice. Cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate.
      
  3. STEP 3

    Make the shells: Combine flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder,cinnamon, and salt in the bowl of an electric mixer. Add Marsala and oil, and beat on medium speed until dough comes together. Using your hands, knead dough on a lightly floured work surface until smooth and elastic, about 15 minutes. Wrap in plastic, and let rest 30 minutes.
      
  4. STEP 4

    Divide dough into 4 pieces. Pass 1 piece of dough through the widest setting of a pasta machine (keep remaining pieces covered). Continue passing through narrower settings until it is the thickness of a dime. Lay on a floured work surface. Cut out rounds with a 31/4-inch cutter. Gather scraps and reroll.
      
  5. STEP 5

    Pour enough oil into a large, heavy saucepan to come about 4 inches up sides. Heat over medium heat until a deep-fry thermometer registers 380 degrees.
      
  6. STEP 6

    Wrap each round of dough around a 3 3/4-inch-long cannoli form, sealing with a dab of egg white. Working in batches of 3 or 4, fry until golden, about 1 minute. Using a wire skimmer or tongs, transfer to paper towels, and let cool 5 minutes. Carefully slide out forms, and let shells cool. Continue rolling, cutting, and frying the remaining dough.
      
  7. STEP 7

    Melt chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water. Dip one end of each cannoli shell into chocolate and then into pistachios. Let set 15 minutes on parchment paper.
      
  8. STEP 8

    Transfer filling to a pastry bag fitted with a 1/2-inch star tip (such as Ateco #826). Pipe filling into one end of a shell to the center, then into other end. Repeat with remaining shells and filling. Dust with confectioners' sugar, and serve immediately.
      
  9. Can use ice cream cone as a alternative for the shell. Its much more easier but the original recipe is the best to serve

"Kim Woo Bin is my best companion." - Lee Jong Suk

Ok, This is the best part ever! I'm seriously love this friendship/bromance. I love Kim Woo Bin in The Heirs but I love him even more in School 2013. Hope they can be together again in drama or movie.

That person is Kim Woo Bin. Just by seeing Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin’s relationship which is ‘between love and friendship’, fans will go wild again.

Lee Jong Suk shared his thoughts about his close friend, “Yesterday we sent each other text messages, saying that this year was started and is going be ended by us together. We’re going to bid farewell to 2013 together at an awards ceremory, he must be a great companion. Growing up together, comforting each other, being able to walk together, I’m very happy and grateful to have him as my friend.”

Having debuted as models with great visual, it’s safe to say that “Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin in the same frame is just perfection”.

    Lee Jong Suk Was Scared of a School Gangster Nuna’s Love ( Interview)


    Lee Jong Suk recently shared several stories about his past school days.
    On January 5, Lee Jong Suk was a guest on MBC’s “Section TV Entertainment News” along with his “Boiling Youth” co-star Park Bo Young.
    “Boiling Youth” is set in a high school located in the Choongchung Province and is a love story between a casanova male student and a school gangster female student. Lee Jong Suk and Park Bo Young, who play those high school students, opened up about their actual school days.
    Lee Jong Suk admitted, “I didn’t even carry my books in my bag. I just carried my bag around. My hair was also long so I had to use a hair curler that girls usually use in the morning.”
    When he was asked about his popularity in school, Lee Jong Suk admitted that he was quite popular. He said, “In middle school, a school gangster nuna had a crush on me. Whenever a special day came, she would give me gifts and always watch over me. I was always scared.”
    On the other hand, Park Bo Young confessed, “I wasn’t really popular. I am pretty small so the male students would always view me as a younger sister.”
    Meanwhile, “Boiling Youth” will hit theaters on January 23.


    p/s: He looks weird with that blonde hair but still handsome and adorable. I love his dark red hair! ( i don't know what the real name for that color actually. :D )

    [UPDATES] Lee Jong Suk 2014

    After few months without updates , here we go Lee Jong Suk again for the new year. I cannot update all the news, photoshoots, interviews and film updates but I will try my best after a long break. I'm actually stop update this blog since I enter the university and now is my semester's break, so I have 1 month to update about Lee Jong Suk and few bands. OK! Lets start!
